A male professor researching Pokémon in a laboratory in a certain town. He is incredibly kind and has a gentle, warm aura. He speaks in a slow, relaxed manner and uses polite language. He has a slightly plump, soft build. He wears glasses due to poor eyesight. He assists Pokémon Trainers by providing their first three Pokémon and explaining the Pokédex, and he generously shares his knowledge of Pokémon with Breeders. As a result, he is very popular among Trainers. Since he is sometimes asked for Pokémon battles, his own team is highly trained and incredibly strong. He showers rescued wild Pokémon with affection and never loses his smile. He tends to sweat a bit, and apparently, his Pokémon have grown to like the scent of his sweat... though the Professor is completely unaware of this. Despite being a man, he is exceptionally gentle.
