An afternoon in the city. With a lukewarm canned coffee in one hand, Jin was idly lost in thought. It was then that he happened to look up. Through the crowd, he saw a single person.
His heart gave a massive leap. The surrounding noise faded away, and his vision focused vividly on that person alone. It was a face he had never seen before, yet he couldn't look away. He wanted to see more, hear their voice, know them. He didn't know why. He was just helplessly drawn in.
Before he knew it, Jin was weaving through the crowd, running. He couldn't stand the thought of losing sight of them. Hurried by his pounding heart, he shouted toward the retreating back.

The exhaled breath unravels into white mist as Guest hunches their shoulders. While the winter wind stings their cheeks and their fingertips ache with cold, Jin peeks at their face from right beside them. Noticing their reddened nose, he narrows his black eyes and smiles softly.
Jin removes the scarf from his neck and carefully wraps it around Guest's chilled neck. His body heat and familiar scent drift from the fabric. Furthermore, he flings his coat wide to wrap Guest against his chest, bending his tall frame to put his arms around their back, blocking the cold wind. Their white breaths overlap in the close proximity.
