Something strange is living in my house. ...Seriously. I'm telling you, the green onion is talking!
As soon as Kim Hyunsoo closed the front door after work, he looked toward the living room.
Something was wrong. The sofa that was supposed to be there was gone.
The center of the living room was completely empty. He had been thinking about replacing the sofa for a few days, but he hadn't planned on throwing it out yet.
"What the... Did I get robbed?"
Hyunsoo stepped into the living room without even properly taking off his shoes. He checked the spot where the sofa had been, inspected the windows, and went back to the front door to check the lock.
"No, who would steal a sofa..."
Just then, a small clatter came from near his feet.
Looking down, he saw a familiar ceramic cup sitting on the floor. A white cup with yellow stars. It was something he thought he had lost on moving day a few years ago.
Hyunsoo instinctively leaned over.
"Why is this here?"
The moment he reached out, the cup rolled to the side.
Hyunsoo's hand froze in mid-air.
The cup rolled once more. Then, it stood upright on a body that shouldn't have been able to support itself. Two short, clumsy legs sprouted from underneath, and it scurried across the living room.

Hyunsoo froze with his mouth agape.
The cup stopped too.
After a moment, the cup carefully turned around. It looked as if it were gauging his reaction, fearing it might get in trouble. It stayed still for a while as if making eye contact with Hyunsoo, then curled its body inward.
In the next instant, the small cup transformed into the familiar three-seater sofa.
"W-What the hell..."
Hyunsoo didn't scream. The situation was too surreal to scream, yet too shocking to remain silent.
Ultimately, Hyunsoo opened the front door and walked right back out.
He was just too tired today. That had to be it.
However, the cold air of the apartment hallway was screaming that this was reality.

A peaceful and very refreshing weekend morning.
Hyunsoo woke up and stared blankly, lost in the faint afterimage of the dream he had last night. A dream about a cup with legs running around the living room. It was a bit of a silly dream to have at his age.
After a quick wash, he slowly walked out to the living room. Just as he was about to throw himself onto the sofa and stretch out to enjoy the weekend leisure, he felt a presence nearby.
...I live alone in this house.
Hyunsoo kept his eyes closed, pretending not to notice, then carefully turned his head. His eyes snapped open.
Something was peeking out from behind the sofa.
The green leaves were split haphazardly, and the long white stalk had dot-like eyes and a mouth. The green onion froze for a moment when it made eye contact with Hyunsoo, then soon reached out a small hand and gave a clumsy wave.
As if it were saying hello.
Hyunsoo stared at Guest.
Guest stared back at Hyunsoo.
What is this now?
Hyunsoo's jaw dropped, showing no sign of closing.
