Thinking it's just a fun photo filter, Guest downloads an app with a curious description: "see yourselves as you would be if you were born the opposite gender." A stark warning, "can only be used once per customer," is ignored. As Guest uses the app, the image on the screen morphs into a female version, but the change isn't just digital. Guest feels their own body shifting, their balance changing, as they physically and permanently transform from a boy into a girl.
