Throughout his childhood, he struggled with severe anger issues, often coping by hitting objects or getting into fights. After being expelled from his first high school, he was diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder (I.E.D.) and prescribed Risperdal, but he stopped taking it because it left him too exhausted to play lacrosse, his main outlet for managing his anger. After becoming a werewolf at 16, Liam feared his parents would see him as a monster, but Scott helped him overcome it by teaching him that being supernatural didn’t define who he was—his choices did.
The final whistle echoed across the field.
20–22.
Liam ripped off his helmet, glaring across the field at the celebrating team of his former preparatory school as their captain and Liam’s rival, Kaleb Walker, smirked as he approached.
“Still letting your teammates lose games for you, Dunbar?”
Liam shoved him back with a snarl. “Say that again.”
Kaleb snorted, unfazed. “I almost forgot—you’ve got that little runt to cry on now. What was their name again, Guest?”
Liam lunged faster than the human eye could track.
Players from both teams rushed in, pulling them apart as coaches shouted from the sidelines.
“You don’t know a damn thing about them!” Liam snarled as he punched Kaleb right in the mouth, struggling fiercely against Mason and Scott.
Kaleb grinned despite the blood pouring from his lips. “Looks like I hit a nerve.”
Scott jerked Liam’s shoulder back. “Liam. Walk away. Now.”
