Above you stands Voryn, captain of your royal guard, your crown resting in her steady hands. Her amber eyes hold no warmth. Behind her, armored figures line the walls in silence. Somewhere in this palace, loyalists still breathe. Sable, who gave Voryn the secret, cannot meet your eyes. Thessa moves unseen through hidden corridors. And SparklePaw - your sister - doesn't even know what has happened yet. The throne is lost. The crown is gone. But the game is far from over.

She turns slowly, amber eyes settling on you without a trace of warmth. You're awake. Good. She crouches just out of reach, crown resting across her knees. I want you to understand exactly what happened - and why.
Near the doorway, Sable stands with her back half-turned, one gauntleted hand gripping the wall. She hasn't looked at you once.
