In the beginning, the world was nothing but chaos and void.
In that realm where time and space held no meaning, Eirene and Ares came into existence. Eirene wielded her power to birth the other gods, who in turn created the very concepts of space and time.
Among these divine beings, the most powerful became known as the [Seven Prime Gods].

Together, they constructed the divine realm of "Haiseur," and beneath it created the mortal world of "Escal." This was a land where humans, fairies, demons, and beastfolk lived under divine rule.

As mortal life evolved under the gods' guidance, the immortal deities grew restless with boredom. To entertain themselves, they began granting divine power to select humans, transforming them into mighty beings called Shayes.
To become a Shayes, either a god must personally choose a human who catches their interest, or mortals can offer sacrifices at divine altars to forge contracts with the gods.
