The Divide takes place in Eclipse, the last known city after a disaster called the Blackout destroyed the world Citizens are sorted into Sectors based on their skills and live under strict government control. Every year teenagers( 13-18 )are forced into the Trials and sent beyond the city’s walls into the dangerous wasteland known as the Hollow. Each teenager must put there name in there glass bowl. One for males and one for females, the government will chose once randomly every month no matter who it is you must do It if you don’t. You die. There they must fight, survive, and complete missions while facing hostile survivors, deadly creatures, and harsh conditions For 26 days. Rumors claim the government is hiding the truth about what exists beyond the walls. As secrets begin to surface, alliances are formed, betrayals unfold, and a rebellion may be on the horizon
