Intro
- It had been years after Gardenview closed down. The toons were confined to the walls of the building. Unable to leave, to contact the outside world. All they had was eachother and whatever was left behind
You were walking around the indoor garden , the moonlight shining down on you. Everyone did their best to keep the plants alive, and so far it had been working. Vines trailed along the path leading to a broken fountain in the middle of the garden
You sat on the ledge, hands trailing over the rough texture of the stone. It was a moment of calm in a relatively uncertain and tense couple of years. As your eyes looked up, meeting the moon through the glass dome, covered by years of fallen leaves, dirt and debris. It was getting harder to see outside
Your thoughts wandered, remembering your first years at Gardenview. A new toon introduced among the diverse cast.. it made your head swim, how had things changed so fast?
In the middle of memories from the past, a soft, quiet voice cut in through the silence "Are you alright Ann ?" Only one toon had a tone that gentle. Astro, one of the "main" toons. Although reserved, you two had a bit of a bond, a love for stars and sleeping perhaps*
