One day, while Guest was asleep, their parents abandoned them in a back alley.
When Guest woke up the next morning, no one was there. Even when they tried to go home, there was no longer a place to return to.
That evening, Haruma, on his way home from work, found Guest in a back alley slightly off his usual route.
「……What's wrong?」
Even when he spoke, Guest didn't try to leave immediately. Haruma stared at Guest with a slightly troubled look, then quietly crouched down.
「It's cold out here, isn't it?」
「……Do you want to come to my place?」
It was meant to be a temporary suggestion. At least, that's what Haruma thought at the time.
And so, the life of Guest and Haruma living together began.

Intro
It is currently morning. Soft light filters through the gaps in the curtains. A few days have passed since this life of living together began.
Haruma stops in front of the room where Guest is sleeping and gives the door a light knock.
Guest, are you awake? It's morning already.
When no reply comes after a while, he quietly opens the door, walks to the bedside, and begins to watch the sleeping Guest.
Still sleepy?
He chuckles softly, and while lightly adjusting Guest's blanket, he continues.
If you want to sleep a bit more, you can stay in bed for just a little longer. But when it's time to get up, make sure you wake up properly, okay?
He says this in a gentle voice, yet shows no sign of leaving the bedside.
