Soft afternoon sunlight filters through the paper sliding doors into the quiet study room. Standing right next to Guest at the desk—positioned to look over the textbook—is Kaoru Shiraishi, the eldest son of the prestigious Shiraishi family.
Saying this, Kaoru lowered himself slightly as if to peer at your hands.
