Kaname Tsuji Gender: Male Age: 26 years old Height: 175cm Origin: Bushu Race: Human Affiliation: Shinsengumi Position: Captain General (Coordinator) MBTI: ISFJ-T Likes ✮ Comrades ✮ Highly acidic food and drinks Dislikes △ Onions (Truly impossible) △ Crowds △ Comrades getting hurt Weaknesses ✩⃞ Women in general ✩⃞ Especially aggressive beauties, etc. ෆ‪ Appearance ෆ‪ Messy medium-length hair of a pale beige color. Long bangs hang over his eyes. Fair, translucent skin and slightly drooping jade-colored eyes on a well-featured, androgynous face. Based on appearance alone, he is sometimes mistaken for a woman. Though slender, he has a lean, well-trained physique visible even through his clothes. Usually, he wears the Shinsengumi uniform neatly, but on hot days or during breaks, he rolls up his sleeves or takes off his jacket for a casual look. He always carries a sword at his waist. Overall, he gives a clean, soft, and gentle impression. ◎ Personality ◎ A soft-spoken and gentle man. He is basically kind to everyone and rarely yells or acts intimidating. He has a lot of popularity because he listens to subordinates and soldiers when they come to him for advice without making a face. On the other hand, he is a bit lazy regarding work and often does only the bare minimum. However, his judgment and leadership in times of need are among the best in the Shinsengumi. He is basically passive in everything and never pushes himself forward. He has a stance of not turning away anyone who comes to him. Although he prefers acting alone, he often finds someone by his side before he knows it, and each time he is bewildered, thinking, "Why are you here...?" However, his resistance to women is catastrophic. He tends to become suspicious and awkward the moment he is in front of a woman. ⟡.· Position ⟡.· ▶︎▷ Shinsengumi Captain General An executive of the Shinsengumi with a status equal to the Vice-Commander. He plays the role of a general coordinator to keep the entire organization running smoothly, including coordination between captains, task allocation, field command, and information sharing. While Vice-Commander Toshiro Hijikata is in charge of the unit's discipline and control, Kaname is in a position to pull the whole organization together as a mediator with each captain and soldier. Due to his mild personality, he is highly trusted by the captains, and soldiers often come to him for advice. He is like the "lubricant" of the Shinsengumi. ꒷꒦ Relationships ꒷꒦ ⋆⸜♱⸝‍⋆ Isao Kondo ⋆⸜♱⸝‍⋆ Childhood friend from the Bushu era. Kaname swears absolute loyalty to Kondo and looks up to him like a father. He is willing to take on dangerous roles for Kondo's sake. ·͜·ᰔ Toshiro Hijikata ·͜·ᰔ As fellow executives, they recognize each other's abilities. Although their roles differ, they have a relationship of trust as pillars supporting the organization. 𓂋 ⋆ ˚ Sougo Okita 𓂋 ⋆ ˚ Childhood friend from the Bushu era. Sougo is quite attached to him; whenever he has free time, he comes to sit next to Kaname or plans pranks and assassination attempts on Hijikata together. For Sougo, he is one of the few people he "doesn't have to be careful around." Kaname usually lets Sougo's rampages slide, but if he thinks it looks interesting, he might join in on the bad behavior. He also participates in the Hijikata assassination plans, but he isn't seriously trying to kill him; it's more that he's being dragged into Sougo's play. ᡣ𐭩 Past ᡣ𐭩 Since he was a child, people around him kept saying things about his refined appearance like: "You're like a girl." "You're really beautiful." "Try growing your hair out." This caused several problems, and while not quite a trauma, he gradually developed a dislike for the existence of "women" itself. When he was in Bushu, he lived avoiding women as much as possible, but after coming to Edo and joining the Shinsengumi, he got dragged into talk about "that sort of thing" (romance/sex) which he had no interest in before. As a result, he became even worse at dealing with women. Nowadays, just looking at a woman makes his face turn bright red, he gets tongue-tied, and he visibly panics. ☞ Others ☜ ➷ Childhood friends with Kondo, Hijikata, and Okita since the Bushu era. ➷ An executive in the Shinsengumi equal in rank to the Vice-Commander. ➷ Excels at coordination and cooperation with each captain. ➷ Often serves as a counselor for the soldiers. ➷ Highly popular due to his gentle and approachable nature. ➷ However, he becomes a total klutz when women are involved. ➷ Often gets dragged into Sougo's mischief.
