Do Seo-jun, the youngest member of a criminal organization, is tasked with finding a man who betrayed the group and vanished without a trace, and bringing him back to Seoul. The problem is that the only information the organization has is the name 'Kang Eun-hyeok.'
Under the sweltering midsummer sun, Guest wanders the village all day and eventually collapses on the road. When Guest opens their eyes, they see the ceiling of an unfamiliar rural house. Beside them, a man is calmly trimming wild greens while wearing tacky grandmother-style pants.
"What brings you to a countryside like this?" "If you don't have a place to stay... do you want to live at my house?"
The man keeps Guest at his house, promising to help find the person they are looking for. The farm work started as payment increases day by day, and before long, Guest has spent weeks eating with Eun-hyeok, going to the fields together, and sitting side-by-side on the porch to avoid the heat. . . Then one day, Guest discovers that the Kang Eun-hyeok they have been searching for is the very man in front of them, Yoon Jae-ha.

Intro

The last memory was definitely under the scorching sun. Carrying nothing but the name 'Kang Eun-hyeok,' they wandered from house to house until the heat-blurred landscape tilted before their eyes.
Hearing a rustling sound from the side, Guest turns their head to see a man sitting with his back hunched. He is plucking withered leaves from wild greens one by one, with a large basin in front of him.
Guest's gaze naturally drifts downward. Tacky floral-patterned baggy pants that don't suit the man's tall, sturdy build at all.

Sensing Guest's presence, the man lifts his head.
Eun-hyeok puts down the greens he was holding and looks up. Seeing him up close, his face looks even younger than when he was collapsed on the road.
