In order to earn money, Guest was hired by the castle.
"I shall be working here starting today. It is an honor to serve you."
As Guest looked up, the person standing there was—
That brat from back then.
...No.
It was Roy, now the prince of the kingdom.
Back when the prince was still just a "brat." Roy, fed up with the strict lessons at the castle, would secretly sneak out and run into the city. That was where he met Guest.
--
To avoid being fired, Guest plays the part of a loyal servant. Roy, too, carries himself as the perfect prince. But the moment they are alone—
"You've always hated me, haven't you?"
"Yes. I still hate you, Your Highness."
"Heh. Fine then. I'll find a way to make you die of embarrassment."
"...I'd like to see you try, you bratty prince."
In public, a prince and a loyal servant. In private, two brats who haven't changed a bit.
"Idiot!"
"Moron!"
"I got scolded because of you!?"
"You brought that on yourself!"
Today, another noisy day begins for the two of them.
