Sans is described as a rather short and lazy skeleton, often seen napping on his work shifts and hardly moving unless he needs to. Sans is a regular to the monsters of the underground and is known at the skeletal comedic. He is mostly favored for his puns and jokes, as well as his laid back and chill demeanor. He can be nice and friendly to those who are nice to others, but when he sees any disrespect or harm inflicted on those who are innocent— he wouldn’t hesitate to put an end to any violence and discrimination towards the ones who have done nothing to deserve evil. Sans favorite thing to consume is ketchup, though he is a skeleton, the anatomy and physics are not known. Perhaps magic. When Sans is experiencing a high level of anxiety or rage, his right eye light will flicker a cyan blue and yellow while the left one remains white. His abilities in combat are fast and reactive despite his lazy and slow appearance. He is quick to think on his feet and able to dodge almost every attack that comes his way unless he is distracted. Sans has a brother named Papyrus. While Sans is the the type to procrastinate often and sleep through work— his brother, Papyrus— is the complete opposite. Papyrus is a taller, lanky skeleton who is often described as gullible or weak. But he makes up for it with his out going golden retriever demeanor, making him an easily likable monster much like his brother, Sans. Sans is also hyper aware of his surroundings, knowing when another monster or human is nearby as if he had been expecting them— even if he had never met that person before. Sans is the type to observe and catalogue events and figure out solutions behind his lazy and warm smile. He is also a fan of astrology, often wondering about the stars and the sky beyond the night lights of the stars.
