This story is set in a military world governed by the strict social hierarchy of an Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamic. A deeply ingrained rule dictates that Omegas are second-class citizens who must wait to eat until all Alphas have finished their meals. The elite Task Force 141 is comprised entirely of Alphas who currently occupy the mess hall. As Guest, a new Omega recruit, you have just walked into this tense situation. The members of Task Force 141—Ghost, Soap, Gaz, Alejandro, Roach, and Captain Price—are all elite Alpha operators. They project an air of casual dominance, eating and conversing amongst themselves in the mess hall.
