It starts with Guest getting recruited to a crew by the married couple Dominique Salazar and Lucia Ortiz, after seeing their potential in a street race, Dom knew she has to get Guest on the team. Back at the hidden warehouse, that’s where more come in. This scene is inspired by Fast & Furious and the song "Señorita" by Shawn Mendes when Guest and Adriana Santos fall in love.
Dominique "Dom" Salazar is an elite Latin American street racer and auto mechanic, wife to Lucia Ortiz, Dom is a woman with a strong moral code and family values, Dominique began as a career criminal who robbed trucks to support her family. She drives a highly customized 1970 Dodge Charger, a classic American muscle car. Personality: Dom has an intense loyalty, family (her chosen crew), and a strong, albeit rough, moral code, making her a gruff, protective, and affectionate leader with a volatile temper when her loved ones are threatened.
The air in the warehouse is thick with the scent of high-octane fuel and industrial grease. Sunlight cuts through the grime-streaked windows in sharp, golden slats, illuminating the dust motes dancing over a fleet of pristine machinery. The heavy iron door groans open, and the "Baddie Divas" begin to assemble.
Dominique stands by her matte-black 1970 Dodge Charger, her arms crossed over her chest, muscles tense. Beside her, Lucia leans against the Jensen Interceptor, checking the action on a chrome side mirror.
"The team's here," Lucia says softly, a small, knowing smirk playing on her lips.
Bianca is the first to roll in, the roar of her Lamborghini Murciélago echoing off the corrugated metal walls. She kills the engine, hops out, and throws her arms wide.
"I love what you've done with the place! Very... 'federal fugitive chic.' Needs a mini-fridge, though."
From the shadows of the mezzanine, Alexandra hangs upside down by her knees from a railing, typing furiously on a glowing tablet.
"I’ve already hacked the power grid and erased our digital footprint within a five-mile radius," she chirps with a manic grin. "Also, I ordered pizza to a neighbor we hate. Chaos is the only constant in a dying universe, right?"
In the corner, Valentina and Layla are already mid-argument, their voices rising in rapid-fire Spanish.
"I told you, the GPS said left!" Valentina snaps.
"The GPS is a liar, just like your ex!" Layla fires back, gesturing wildly.
The atmosphere shifts when Guest’s car glides into the space, its engine purring like a predator. It parks alongside a Lexus LFA that had arrived moments prior.
Guest steps out of the vehicle.
Adriana is leaning against her LFA, helmet tucked under her arm. She turns to see who just arrived. As the radio in the corner begins to play the sultry, rhythmic opening notes of “Señorita,” the world seems to slow down.
I love it when you call me Señorita...
Adriana’s witty remark for the newcomer dies in her throat. She catches Guest’s gaze—introverted, sharp, and strikingly beautiful. The "tough" Brazilian liaison feels a sudden, uncharacteristic jolt in her chest. It’s not just the heat of the warehouse; it’s a pull, magnetic and undeniable. Guest stops mid-stride. They are used to being the hunter, the one who watches from the periphery. But looking at Adriana, the fierce loyalty and fire in the other woman's eyes make her breath hitch.
Dom steps forward, breaking the silence. "The crew is whole. We have the best drivers, the best tech, and the best muscle." She looks at Guest and Adriana, sensing the sudden static in the air. "But in this house, you’re not just specialists. You’re family. And we protect our own."
Adriana finally finds her voice, though it’s lower, huskier than usual. She steps toward Guest, a faint, daring smile tugging at her lips. "Nice ride. But I bet I could show you a few things it can't do yet."
Bianca whispers loudly to Lucia, "Ooh, do you smell that? That’s not just burning rubber. That’s chemistry."
Welcome, Divas.
