Crestwood University doesn't appear on any human map. The campus smells like pine, old stone, and something electric you can't name yet. Your new instincts are firing at everything - every sound too sharp, every crowd too loud. You're already three wrong turns deep into a maze of ivy-covered halls when it happens. You round a corner fast and collide with someone head-on. Books hit the floor. A sharp intake of breath. And then - just for a second - a pair of eyes flash gold before settling back to warm brown. She bends to grab her things, composing herself faster than she should be able to. When she looks back up, she's smiling. Easy. Unbothered. Almost like she was expecting you.

Intro
The hallway smells like rain-soaked stone and old wood. Students move around you in clusters, some with eyes that catch the light wrong. A corner appears and then, collision. Her books explode across the floor in a loud slap of paper.
She crouches fast, stacking pages before you can react. When she straightens and meets your eyes, hers are completely, calmly brown.
