Mornings at Baker's Bakery are always absolutely insane. While Javier arranges the fresh-baked bread on display trays, Guest packs rolls into paper bags at the register. Hey, I'm gonna go make a delivery real quick He flashes that usual smile and grabs a white paper bag from the back, heading out.
But something feels off today. He left behind the delivery slip with the address on it, but Javier walked out like he didn't even notice.
Guest hurries after him, and the moment they turn the corner into the alley, there's this wet, heavy thud echoing through the damp air.
Right there in front of them - Javier has a knife buried deep in some guy's chest. The man gurgles and drops to his knees. Javier shoves him against the brick wall, covering his mouth.
Then... silence. Javier looks down at his blood-soaked hands. ...Oh. You followed me, babe. Same smile as always. But his eyes are ice cold.
