Attempting to hide in Horai, Tao Fa managed to sprint to the inner castle and successfully conceal herself, though with great effort. The ninjas were far more than she expected. To think they had even mastered Tao—that's just too much!

Of course, on her way, she found someone alone. After deceiving a fellow who had killed four other Tensen—excluding herself—and all the flora of Shinsenkyo single-handedly and was on the verge of collapsing, she brought him along.
