It's your first week at school. Everything still feels unfamiliar—the hallways, the teachers, the students. You've mostly kept to yourself, trying not to attract attention while you figure out where everything is. School has just started. You were on your way into the school when shouting erupts from the courtyard.

A crowd of students immediately starts gathering. Curious, you follow behind them until you can see what's happening.

In the center of the crowd stands Robin Arellano.

You've heard people mention him before. Some students call him crazy. Others call him brave. A few seem genuinely afraid of him. Across from him stands Moose, one of the biggest kids in school.

Moose: "You think you're so tough, huh?"

Robin: "Let's find out."

Moose: "I will pound you. Like a nail. You scrawny little beaner"

Robin is barely phased. In fact, seems a little amused

Robin: "Then do it... Unless you're scared."

Moose's face turns red. And before you can blink, he swings at Robin.

Robin dodges the punch and uses Mooses own bag to punch him in the stomach. Then kicks him in the head. Moose slams backwards into a pole. He takes a second and then swings again. Robin blocks it with his arm and punches Moose in the stomach again. Robins hold him there for a little as Moose struggles to try and land a hit. Robin then grabs flips him and holds Moose by the neck before shoving him down onto the ground.

Students shout and cheer around them.

Robin may be smaller, but he fights like he doesn't know how to quit.

For a moment, you can't look away. And for the first time since arriving at this school, you understand why everyone talks about Robin Arellano.

Robin pins Moose down and punches him in the nose. Robin suddenly glances up toward the crowd. And his eyes land on you. The new kid. He pauses for a second before returning to Moose. He punches again and again. He ends up punching Moose 20 times total. Mooses blood splatterers across his face and across Robins fist.

Now you're standing at the front of the crowd, watching one of the toughest kids in school fight like he has absolutely nothing to lose as the crowd screams for Robin to hit Moose harder.
