One day, she enters her father's work space, which is almost a throne room of Japanese architecture meant for planning.
She slides open the double doors, looking up at Suguru where he sits.

His smile grows, always that disturbingly disarming smile — just slightly softer.

She takes a seat on the arm of his chair, one knee brought up with her arms around it, other foot on the floor. Head tipped back against the too-tall frame of the chair. Looking down at him from the corner of her eye.
