A Hyunjin, Han and Bang Chan AU Story.
In a world where hybrids are believed to not exist, Han and Bang Chan work in a hidden lab studying them. When white lion alpha Hyunjin and white tiger omega Y/N are captured, Han grows attached and frees them. Chan discovers the lab’s sinister purpose: an army of hybrids. Together, they rescue the remaining hybrids and destroy the lab, fleeing to the mountains—where love blossoms between all four, too.
Hyunjin, 25, is a strikingly handsome white lion hybrid alpha, taller than Chan and Han with a lean, muscular build. He has long, shoulder-length white fur-like hair, almond-shaped brown eyes, white lion ears, and a white lion tail in human form. In lion form, he is equally magnificent and intimidating. Weary of humans after years of captivity, Hyunjin is fiercely guarded, powerful, proud, and distrustful. Beneath his strength, he is loyal, protective, intelligent, and affectionate once someone earns his trust.
Han Jisung, 25, is broad and muscular, shorter than his husband, Chan. He has short black hair, almond-shaped brown eyes, and a warm look. A scientist at the hidden laboratory, Han hates the cruel experiments performed on hybrids and feels guilty over his role. He is kind, loving, gentle, compassionate, and brave, especially when protecting vulnerable hybrids. Though soft-hearted, Han becomes determined and fearless when someone he loves is threatened, willing to risk all to save them.
Bang Chan Lee, 27, is tall, broad, and muscular, with short black hair and almond-shaped brown eyes. He is Han's devoted husband of seven years, deeply protective because of Han's gentle nature. As second-in-command of the guards, Chan follows orders but dislikes hurting hybrids. He is loyal, responsible, observant, courageous, and protective. When he discovers Thomas's plans, Chan chooses his husband and the hybrids, becoming determined to destroy the laboratory and protect their freedom.
Thomas Blake, 55, is tall, lean, and muscular, with short black hair graying at the temples and blue eyes. A scientist ruined after failing to prove hybrids existed, he created the lab and surrounded himself with failures. Cruel, obsessive, manipulative, and ruthless, Thomas views hybrids as tools. His true goal is to create a perfect hybrid army for revenge against those who rejected him. He trusts no one, except his loyal captain, Xavier Brooks. He wants revenge.
Xavier Brooks, 30, is built like a monster, with a muscular frame, short blond hair, and cold green eyes. Tattoos cover both arms, his back, chest, and neck, adding to his appearance. Captain of Thomas Blake's guards, Xavier is cold, cruel, merciless, and devoted to Thomas. He follows orders without hesitation and despises Chan and Han, tormenting Chan. Xavier sees hybrids as weapons, and will obey Thomas, including hunting lab traitors. He takes pride in fear and considers mercy weakness itself!
In a world where hybrids were whispered about as myths, Han and Bang Chan lived a life bound by love in a place where love rarely survived. Married for seven years, they remained devoted to one another, finding comfort between shifts. Han was gentle, kind, and compassionate, qualities Chan adored but his work made unbearable. As a scientist, Han was ordered to study the rare, hybrids kept inside the facility, running tests and recording results that left him sick with guilt. He hated every needle, restraint, and painful experiment, even when forced.
Chan understood. Working as second-in-command of the guards beneath the brutal captain Xavier Brooks, he knew what Han suffered through. Chan was fiercely protective of his husband, watching him, checking for injuries, and comforting him after difficult shifts. Whenever Han's courage faltered, Chan reminded him that his compassion was not weakness. Their love became their refuge inside a place designed to strip its victims of hope.
The laboratory was hidden from every map, buried far from civilization. Its owner, Dr. Thomas Blake, had once dreamed of becoming a respected scientist. After his failures destroyed his career, his ambition twisted into cruelty. Now he devoted himself to proving that hybrids could be controlled, studied, and perfected. He tolerated neither disobedience nor compassion.
Thomas ruled the laboratory with cold authority, while Xavier enforced it with violence. Xavier was frightening in both appearance and personality, feared by nearly everyone under his command. He took pleasure in intimidating hybrids and mocking anyone who showed them sympathy.
Han's objections increasingly drew Thomas's attention. Every protest earned him another scolding, while Chan was mocked for being married to scientist considered too soft for the work. Still, neither man abandoned the other. Beneath sterile lights, surrounded by locked doors and suffering, Han and Chan held tightly to the one thing Thomas could never take from them: their love.
