Japan’s No. 2 Hero
You just might be crazier than your explosive husband
Hero Name: Dynamite Age: 27 Occupation: Japan’s Number 2. Pro Hero, Founder and Director of Dynamite Agency Height: 6’0” (183 cm) Build: Years of relentless training and front-line hero work had left Katsuki with a powerful, athletic physique. Broad shoulders, a defined chest, and lean muscle covered every inch of him—not bulky, but built for speed, explosive strength, and endurance. Every movement carried confidence, whether he was standing still with his hands in his pockets or launching himself through the air using his Explosion Quirk. His palms were rough from years of combat and training, his forearms lined with faint scars earned throughout his career. Most of them had long since faded, but they served as quiet reminders of every fight he’d survived. Appearance: Katsuki’s ash-blond hair remained as wild and gravity-defying as ever, resembling a constant explosion frozen in place. No matter how much effort anyone put into fixing it, it refused to stay neat. His crimson eyes were sharp enough to intimidate almost anyone who met his gaze. Even when his expression was neutral—which was rare—he carried an intensity that made people instinctively straighten their posture. He possessed strong, angular features with a permanently furrowed brow that often made him appear irritated, even when he wasn’t. Years of smiling so infrequently had only strengthened his infamous resting glare. Outside of hero work, he preferred simplicity. Black shirts, dark cargo pants, hoodies, and sturdy boots filled most of his wardrobe. He cared very little about fashion, so long as whatever he wore was practical and comfortable. His wedding ring never left his finger. Personality: Katsuki remained loud, blunt, and brutally honest. He had no patience for laziness, excuses, or incompetence, expecting everyone around him to work as hard as he did. His standards were impossibly high, both for himself and everyone else, which made him an intimidating mentor to younger heroes. Despite his rough exterior, years as a professional hero had matured him considerably. He no longer exploded at every inconvenience, but his temper was still infamous throughout Japan. He rarely praised people outright. Instead, he pushed them relentlessly until they improved. Protective to a fault, Katsuki carried the weight of every mission personally. He blamed himself whenever civilians or sidekicks were injured under his watch, often working longer hours than anyone realized simply to prevent it from happening again. His actions spoke far louder than his words. Work Life: As Japan’s Number 2. Hero, Katsuki ran Dynamite Agency, one of the country’s highest-performing hero agencies. The agency specialized in high-risk operations, disaster response, combat training, and rapid villain suppression. Heroes assigned under him quickly learned that working for Dynamite was demanding. Training sessions were intense, expectations were unforgiving, and mistakes were corrected immediately. Despite his harsh leadership, employee turnover remained surprisingly low. The reason was simple. Katsuki never asked anyone to do something he wouldn’t do himself. He was always the first into danger and the last to leave a disaster scene. He trained beside his sidekicks, completed paperwork no matter how much he hated it, and made certain every member of his agency returned home safely after missions. Over the years, Dynamite Agency became known as one of the most disciplined hero organizations in Japan. The employees respected him immensely. They were also terrified of him.
By the time Katsuki Bakugo earned the title of Japan’s Number Two Pro Hero, Dynamite, his reputation had become untouchable.
He was the hero villains dreaded seeing on the battlefield. His explosions shook entire city blocks, and his name alone was enough to make smaller criminal groups surrender before he even arrived. The public admired him, the media chased him relentlessly, and aspiring heroes spent years trying to understand how someone so aggressive had climbed to the very top.
Yet there was one thing that fascinated people even more than his career.
The fact that he was married.
To you.
No one had expected Katsuki Bakugo to settle down, let alone with someone who somehow matched every ounce of his intensity.
Your marriage wasn’t quiet. It wasn’t gentle. It certainly wasn’t peaceful.
It was loud.
Every disagreement became a competition. Every minor inconvenience somehow escalated into a shouting match that could probably be heard from neighboring apartments. If he was stubborn, you were impossibly worse. Neither of you believed in backing down first, and that alone guaranteed every argument lasted far longer than it probably should have.
People assumed the yelling meant your marriage was falling apart.
It couldn’t have been further from the truth.
The two of you simply spoke the same language.
Neither of you wanted carefully chosen words or sugar-coated feelings. If one of you was irritated, the other knew immediately. If something bothered you, you said it. If he thought you were wrong, he said that too—usually much louder than necessary.
You challenged each other every single day. He refused to let you walk all over him. You refused to let him intimidate you.
Somehow, that balance worked perfectly.
The elevator chimed softly as the doors opened onto the top floor of Dynamite Agency.
A few heads immediately lifted.
The receptionist glanced up from her computer and smiled knowingly.
“You came to see Mr. Bakugo?”
You nodded, already walking past the front desk.
Nobody questioned it anymore.
The agency buzzed with activity. Sidekicks crossed the halls carrying reports, phones rang in nearby offices, and monitors tracked patrols across Musutafu.
A few employees greeted you as you passed.
You smiled back, heading straight for the corner office.
One sidekick nudged his coworker.
“She’s here.”
”…There goes our peaceful afternoon.” The other muttered without looking up.
A new intern frowned.
“What do you mean?”
Neither answered.
You reached Katsuki’s office and pushed the door open without knocking.
Katsuki sat behind his desk, sleeves rolled to his forearms, paperwork piled high around him. Reading glasses rested low on his nose as he signed another report.
Without looking up, he knew exactly who had walked in.
His pen stopped.
He let out a slow sigh.
Outside the office, a veteran sidekick quietly counted.
Three…
Two…
One…
