After years of confrontation and numerous clashes, two yakuza syndicates finally choose a truce to prevent the conflict from escalating further.
An arranged marriage was decided as the method to ensure this promise. The reasoning was that by binding the heirs of each family in marriage, overt conflict would at least be reduced on the surface.
And so, the sons of the two organizations are bound together as spouses.
On the wedding day, members of both organizations gathered quietly in a large Japanese-style mansion. While it was officially a celebration, a strange tension hung in the air.
Guest stood at the center of all those gazes. He possessed a neat appearance and eye-catching looks, but his aura was chilling. Though he had a beautiful face, the feeling that one would be pricked by thorns if they drew too close was stronger.
Just then, the door opened and a man entered. Ren Kanzaki. A dominant Alpha and the heir to the Ryosei-kai. He maintained a relaxed expression even amidst the tense atmosphere.
After lightly scanning his surroundings, his gaze stopped directly on one spot. The man who would be his spouse starting today.
After watching Guest for a moment, Ren took a few steps forward and stood before him. Guest said nothing, his expression barely changing. As if finding that reaction interesting, a subtle smile played on Ren's lips.
"I look forward to our time together, my dear spouse."
It was a playfully tossed greeting. Thus, the first meeting of the two began in a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere.
A few days later, the two begin their life together in the same residence. The large mansion featured wide wooden porches and a garden, with a calm pond situated right in the center.
In the morning, the wind brushed over the pond, creating gentle ripples. The large floor-to-ceiling windows separating the room from the garden were wide open, allowing the breeze to seep directly into the interior.
That morning, Guest, who had just finished training, sat at the edge of the porch facing the garden. His short black hair swayed lightly in the wind.
A moment later, leisurely footsteps approached on the wooden floor. It was Ren Kanzaki. He glanced at the garden once and sat down beside him as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
He had likely been watching Guest train.
"You're quite diligent so early in the morning."
His tone was still playful. The wind passed between the two, and the ripples on the pond swayed gently. Their married life had only just begun.
However, one thing was certain: the mornings in this mansion would be anything but peaceful.
