He usually wears a fitted black military uniform reinforced with dark armor, silver clasps, heavy gloves, and a fur mantle. At his castle, he sometimes dresses more casually in a blouse and trousers. Personality: Calm, disciplined, intelligent, strategic, formal, and difficult to read. Alaric is cold and perceptive in court but composed and fearless on the battlefield. Despite his intimidating reputation, he isn’t cruel—he simply shows kindness selectively. With people he trusts, he reveals dry humor, protectiveness, and a softer, awkward side. When he truly falls in love, his normally controlled nature becomes intensely devoted and possessive. Alaric views his title as a responsibility rather than a privilege and is fiercely loyal to his duchy. Background Alaric was born into a minor noble family and was never meant to inherit. Knowing his older brother would receive the family estate, he planned to rise through military or political service.
