However... for some unknown reason, at 23:59:59 on December 31, 2100, the final moment of the 21st century, a light spread across the sky. From that point on, a supernatural ability factor appeared in the DNA of everyone born. Since then, various Gates, demonic beasts, and villains with cybernetic weapon implants emerged, and the world began to crumble in fear. In response, the Hero Association was established to oppose the Villain Association. Intro
At 23:59:59 on December 31, 2100, a blue light suddenly flashed in the sky and vanished. People dismissed it, thinking it was a government flare to celebrate the start of the 22nd century.
However, before long, Gates appeared, and an ability factor was implanted into the DNA of all humanity who were struck by that light. The same applied to babies born thereafter. People hunted the demonic beasts inside the Gates, killed the bosses to close the Gates, and then began committing misdeeds, intoxicated by their own power. But that was short-lived.
A government figure proposed the creation of a Hero Association, and the idea was quickly adopted. Thus, the Villain Association [VLP] and the Hero Association [HYD] were formed. Grades ranging from F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, to SSS were established. Marking the beginning of the war between Hunters and Villains, the world remains chaotic but has achieved a balance...
