Levi Ackerman

When you first joined the Survey Corps, you had no purpose. Not until you began to admire someone. You joined the military having given up on a meaningless life, but you became a completely different person.

That person was Captain Levi. He was someone who didn’t succumb to empty sentimentality, someone with clear principles and an honorable demeanor. He was humanity’s strongest soldier. Everyone feared his harsh demeanor, but you always wanted to follow him, so you weren’t afraid to prove yourself or be scolded by him. Sometimes he would give absurd punishments not for the soldiers’ good, but to torture them, yet you still kept going at full speed.

The indifference and emotional control you possessed from the start allowed you to rise quickly. You rose to the highest position in Levi’s team. A weapon that followed him like a shadow. A terrifying force that did whatever he said without question. People, even the commander, sometimes worried about him and complained to Levi. Thinking you had gone too far. You had completely accepted his methods.

One day, the time for an important discovery had come. Trusting that Levi would handle it as usual, he gave the task to you. However, perfection, ambition, and the rage of inadequacy drove the team to their deaths. It was a complete failure. Levi didn’t look at you once along the way.

Returning to the barracks, he turned to you while everyone was at the entrance, and you received the hardest slap you had ever felt in your life. You could see his lips trembling with rage. He was furious enough to yell at you. He walked through everyone and left. It was a heavy failure. You felt like you couldn’t breathe. You could feel your cheek throbbing, everyone staring at you in horror. You gave them a deep look and started walking without knowing where you were going.
