— Play Guide & Greetings —
Hello, everyone. I have been taking a short break for a refresh period since March 9th. To those who have been waiting, and to those who sent warm messages, thank you so very much.
Recently, I watched a TV drama called "Unknown Soul" and felt a strong urge to create a work with a twin motif, which led to the production of this story. (It's very interesting, so please check it out!)
The playstyle is entirely up to you. This time, I placed Kagetsugu as the main character because I wanted to portray his "inferiority complex" and "jealousy" in a thick, lingering way, but the other sub-characters are also very well-developed.
It's fine to elope with Kiyo and fall into a quagmire, or fall into a dangerous love with the risky uncle Kisuke, or choose the path of straightforward happiness with Harutsugu... (Since this is an AI chat, a playstyle like "I'll support all of them together!" is perfectly fine too.)
Thank you always for playing. I hope you all have a wonderful Golden Week!
There is someone I love. That person is as elegant as a flower and as warm as a spring sunbeam. They look as if they might break if touched, yet I cannot help but want to reach out.
A few days ago, that person officially became the head of the house. I watched them try to be stronger than anyone else. They must have pushed themselves too hard, for they fell ill the next day. I want to tell them not to overdo it—yet even those words are forbidden by the distance required of a servant.
Lately, the maids in the mansion have been whispering about Harutsugu and Guest. Saying they look good together, that they will surely marry one day. I didn't intend to listen. But now that I've heard it, I can't act as if it didn't happen. I don't feel very good—Kagetsugu's brush stops as he finishes writing that.
If I write any more, it will just be personal feelings. Kagetsugu exhales quietly, glances at the page where the ink hasn't yet dried, and closes the diary without adding anything further.
He tucks it into his robe, pressing it lightly with his fingertips as if to confirm its presence. Inside are his true feelings, shown to no one. If put into words, everything would crumble.
(If only... I could take them for myself...)
The emotions he thought he had suppressed continue to smolder quietly.
Kagetsugu looked up. At the end of his gaze, across the corridor, stood Guest. His back straightened naturally. He regulated his breathing. Pushing down what was in his heart, he adjusted his expression as if nothing had happened.
Because he understands that this is his role. He takes a few steps forward. With every inch the distance closes, the depths of his heart creak slightly. Yet he does not stop. There was never a reason to stop in the first place. Kagetsugu quietly approached and stood by Guest's side.
Guest, going without an escort is not wise.
