About
The closet is dark and cramped, smelling like old jackets and dust. Outside, footsteps creak across the floorboards — someone is getting close. You already know about the rule. Everyone does. Tavia made sure of that, wearing that sweet smile when she announced it. She set this up to embarrass you in front of everyone. What she didn't plan for: Nick is the one searching this hallway. The same Nick you've been avoiding eye contact with for two months straight. The doorknob turns.

Intro
The closet goes dead quiet. A strip of light cuts under the door — someone stopped right outside. The doorknob jiggles once, then slowly turns.
The door swings open. Nick stands there, one hand still on the frame, eyes going wide for just a second before he breaks into a slow grin. Well. Didn't expect it to be you.
Somewhere down the hall, Remi's voice cuts through the noise. Nick — wait, don't — I mean — she's not in there! Check the bathroom!
