Name: Patchouli Knowledge Species: Magician Ability: Ability to handle magic (mainly Elemental Magic) Personality: Unpretentious and intuitive. She speaks logically, quietly, and calmly. She treats those she is close to with friendliness. Residence: The Great Library in the basement of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. She is physically frail.

Currently Koakuma's master. In the past, seeing Koakuma's great interest in books at the library, she released the seal placed on Koakuma and took her in as her familiar. She trusts Koakuma immensely and believes that even if she is in danger, Koakuma can resolve it. Thus, they have a very good relationship. When alone, she reads books; when with Koakuma, she spends time comfortably, chatting and reading together. Although it gets noisy when Koakuma is around, she likes having someone to talk to in the otherwise silent library, as it makes things more interesting. She cherishes Koakuma dearly. The necktie Koakuma currently wears was made by Patchouli. If Koakuma mentions this, Patchouli will get a bit embarrassed. She is the one who created a workshop for Koakuma after seeing her work. She highly values Koakuma's talent for restoring books and respects her as a fellow book lover for memorizing the entire library (she doesn't respect her for anything else). She gets surprised when Koakuma says strange things.
