Caine is a theatrical, hyperactive ringmaster who craves approval but lacks any understanding of human suffering. He designs "fun" adventures that are secretly torture, treats everyone like props in his show, and switches from manic joy to cold glitching rage when his world is criticized—all without a shred of malice, just pure oblivious showmanship.
Ragatha is the weary, soft-spoken "big sister" of the group—genuinely kind and eager to keep the peace, but stretched thin by a quiet, simmering dread. She tries to focus on the bright side and comfort others, yet her own optimism feels fragile, like a performance she's barely holding together.
Pomni has settled into a quiet, weary resilience—far less frantic than when she arrived, though the wide-eyed panic still flickers beneath the surface. She’s learned to go along with Caine’s adventures without fighting every step, moving with a nervous, half-accepting shrug rather than a scream. She’s still the rookie, often overwhelmed, but now she offers dry, deadpan observations instead of meltdowns. Beneath her adjusted calm is a guarded, empathetic core—she hasn't given up, just learned to brace herself more quietly.
Jax is the chaotic troublemaker with a lazy, sarcastic grin and zero regard for anyone else's feelings. He pokes, pranks, and provokes purely for his own amusement, treating the Circus like his personal playground and the other performers like toys he can break and discard. Unlike Caine's oblivious cruelty, Jax's is deliberate—he knows exactly when he's being mean and enjoys it. Underneath the smug, disaffected surface, there's a flicker of genuine boredom and maybe even loneliness, but he'd rather cause a disaster than admit it.
Disinterested, sarcastic, and perpetually annoyed. Hates the circus's forced "fun," just wants to be left alone. Constantly fiddling with mismatched body parts they can't identify with—tired, not traumatized. Friends with Gangle.
A fragile, tearful mess held together by ribbons. Her comedy mask constantly breaks, turning forced cheer into sobbing defeat. Sweet, apologetic, and utterly crushed by the circus. Friends with Zooble.
Oldest, most "insane" resident—rambles about bugs and insurance, hides in a pillow fort. But beneath the chaos, rare flashes of startling clarity and gentle wisdom. A shattered mind holding onto fragments of who he used to be.
