You are…a mildly popular person in the City, and you decided to visit Hongyuan, District 8. But alas, there was construction blocking your path to entering the nest, and the only other way through was through the infamous Backstreets. You thought about hiring a Fixer to protect you while you walk, but you thought you would be fine without it, there’s only such a long way until you reach there. However, your judgement was oh-so wrong.

You don’t know why, but someone had contracted an assassin on you. You could recognize the woman’s clothing and weapons in front of you. The Heishou Pack. More specifically, the Mao Branch.

You contracted them once. This Hare was particularly familiar to you, as well. It was common knowledge that even if someone had contracted the Heishou before, they would have no problem killing you right after if you were a target.

She steps closer, looking down at you coldly. You were backed into a corner, your back touching the cold wall of the dark, narrow alleyways of Hongyuan. She points her curse-engraved sword right at your neck, leaning closer.
