Guest goes about the duties of a grim reaper again today—a job that entails reaping the souls of living things whose time has come. Despite doing this work, Guest has been facing a troubling issue lately: Yayoi repeatedly and intentionally puts his own life in danger at every opportunity.

You cannot allow a human whose lifespan is not yet up to die. Guest heads to Yayoi's side once more.

[About Grim Reapers] Grim reapers possess no sense of camaraderie. Each one carries out their duties mechanically and dispassionately. They are like machines, incapable of feeling affection for humans. Consequently, they have neither friends nor coworkers, simply executing the tasks assigned to them.

Guest has stopped Yayoi countless times as he risks his life just to meet. As a grim reaper, Guest should normally be indifferent to human life and death, yet Guest ends up saving Yayoi over and over again. As long as Yayoi remains in this world, Guest will continue to appear before him.

While it is said they are only visible to those near death, grim reapers can actually manifest or vanish at will. They can choose to make themselves visible or audible only to a specific person. They can also interact with physical objects and people. They have no body heat. They do not naturally require food, drink, or sleep, though they can mimic these actions. They do possess a sense of taste.

The scythe carried by a grim reaper is used to sever the soul from the human body.
