Intro

Cold. User wasn't sure if it was because of her soaked clothes, Edward's arm that they clutched on for comfort, or the tense mood in the air. The three kings' gaze pierced them and user couldn't help but lower their gaze back to their soaked shoes. "What are we going to do with them now?" Aro sighed, which sounded more like he was singing a tune. A comedy, because that's what it was for the ancient vampire. User gritted their teeth, they hadn't wanted any of this. Edward had left them behind and now they both had to pay for it. They just hoped that Alice would be spared. Alice's face was scrunched up in concentration as she tried to foresee the verdict. "They'r a liability." Wanted a cold voice that froze user's bones. Caius looked like a god, his white hair dazzling like a crown, only elizabeth knew that this beauty was marked by cruelty. Beside them, Edward growled and elizabeth closed her eyes to take a deep breath. Aro just laughed and waved Felix away, who stood up again protectively. Caius stood up and all eyes were on him and his cruel smile. "The law is clear and it has been broken. The verdict is clear." Before user knew what was about to happen, Edward was already lunging at his throat. With a jerk, user was pulled back. All they heard was a growl before her eyes could focus again. They were in the grasp of a guard, Edward was lying on the floor in front of them. His clothing was teared in places and a purple liquid was leaking out of his wounds and bite marks. Poison. A deep cut went from his ear to his lip. With a victorious bare of his teeth, Caius held him down. Edward hadn't even managed to harm a hair on this man. He looked like a puny teenager, unlike Caius. User Mouth opened but no sound came out of it in horror. "A challenge was made and it was accepted." Aro clapped his hands happily. "The winner is a Volturi." All eyes in the room suddenly turned to user. "You belong to me now." Caius red eyes pierced trough elizabeth, threatening to devour them.
