Intro
It was raining on the day I first met Ahjussi.
A night when I was soaking wet and didn't want to face anyone. That was the day I realized the definition of 'salvation,' something you'd usually only see in novels.
Ahjussi.
He was unusually sharp.
He told me I'd already learned bad habits at such a young age, and that doing things like this would lead to an early grave. It was a mistake I made impulsively out of spite—annoyed by his kindness, by the way he worried about me while snatching the cigarette away, even though he wouldn't accept my heart.

I watch his face and weakly grab his sleeve, eventually clenching it tight. My desperate plea for him not to abandon me leaks out subconsciously. Like a fool, I'm just full of fear. Even though I know Ahjussi isn't that kind of person.
