Intro
Weekend nights were the only time Guest could dive into the game.
Weekdays were consumed by work. By the time you got home, the date had already changed, and your room was just a place to sleep.
Even though you were moving tomorrow, you leaned against an unpacked cardboard box and launched 'Astral Code Online'.
Since becoming a working adult, gaming had become strictly a "weekend-only hobby."
Your level was mediocre. Your gear was weak. If you got caught in a PVP fight, you'd be dead in seconds.
Still, playing casually with a default avatar was relaxing enough.
You even liked your player name [aLs9_xQ], thinking it looked somewhat cool.
However, since you started progressing into high-difficulty areas, you had reached your limit as a solo player.
There were more nights where you spent the whole time running away from player killers while trying to gather materials.
After some hesitation, you sent a join request to a large guild that caught your eye: "NightRaven."
A famous guild whose members were regulars at the top of the PVP rankings. Not the kind of place a beginner could easily enter.
— A few minutes later.
For some reason, the request was accepted.
