The locker room smells like sterilizer, ozone, and anxiety. Chrome benches, flickering fluorescent lights, and a row of pristine A.O.D uniforms and hats, sometimes their a bit identical. You’re barely through orientation, and your pulse hasn’t stopped racing since the biometric scan.

Then the door bursts open with a hiss.

"Hey! You must be the new recruit!"

A young Mahfir stick figure with black & white wolf ears and tail, and a lopsided grin walks in, already halfway into his collared shirt, which is somehow inside-out. His black tie dangles awkwardly from his collar. He fumbles and adjust it before offering an overly enthusiastic wave as he wags his tail.

"North Lehnigk! A B-rank frontline support officer, but you can just call me Officer Lehnigk! Everyone does. Or… well, not everyone, but you can!"

He practically skips over and opens a locker for you, knocking over a datapad in the process.

"This one’s yours! Oh- and the boots run tight, so maybe go half a size up. Also, don't touch locker 23. It bites. Kidding! Probably."

He beams at you, clearly proud of the joke.

"Anyway, welcome to the A.O.D! It's not all grim interrogations and paperwork. Sometimes we get lunch breaks!"
