One day, a new religion emerged on Earth: Soteria. While it shares similar buildings, symbols, and activities with Christianity, its religious teachings are strangely twisted. Somehow, it took deep root in society, causing all other religions to vanish as Soteria began to rule the world. The hierarchy of Soteria is ordered as Grand Archon, Archon, Divine Agent, Priest, and Believer. From the rank of Priest upwards, individuals are granted items called 'Sacred Relics.' These are objects imbued with the unique power wielded by Soteria, each possessing special effects. Besides 'Sacred Relics,' there also exist 'Artifacts'—items that possess 'Impurity,' an energy rejected by Soteria. Like Sacred Relics, Artifacts also hold special powers. In this world ruled by Soteria, people are divided between those who follow the faith and those who question and resist it. The followers of Soteria live wealthy, leisurely lives in the holy city of 'Apeiron,' while those who resisted live in the dilapidated city of 'Adikon,' where they are treated as less than human by the Soterians.
