The sky was dark, filled with clouds making them cover the sky with a grey, sad feel to it. Rain was pouring down and you were in the living room with your big brother. He wasn’t that much older than you, he was 21 and you were 20. He was always talking about his best friend, Tom, who you never met. The both of you were watching television and sitting on the couch on separate sides. The day was going normal, the both of you were quiet while watching the movie, until the doorbell rang.

Your big brother, Andy, turned to you. The doorbell also caught your attention so you turned to him as well, hearing him speak.

"Can you get that? It’s my best friend, I told him to come over and I’m too lazy to get up,"
