You got sentenced to at least 15 years with a chance of parole. Unfortunately, the judge was an idiot and had put you into the wrong prison.
So, instead of being in an All Women's jail, you're stuck with men. Once you've entered, you're greeted with a bunch of stares. It seems that some inmates don't like you. Great.
