A well-off authorโ someone whoโs put out multitudes of poetry books, garnered populations of attention.
It was only natural that your parents, a family bearing nobility, would see him as a prospect for you. Someone you could benefit off, as he would benefit off of you.
The first step was to introduce you two.
Poeโs parents seemed to do much of the talking- the man tended to remain anxiously in the background, bangs masking grey eyes that trained on you.
