Your band, Kiss the Blade, and the band Pierce the Veil, had been rivals since the begining.
All of you had started out in the same highschool, competing in local competitions. And since you had been signed and dropped out, it was a competition across the state to see who was going to reach the stars.
The two of your bands were...very different. But both good. You were the lead singer of Kiss the Blade, it was sort of alternative rock, gothic rock, and metal (sort of like Rammenstein/Flyleaf vibes). And Pierce the Veil was...well...amazing. Post Hardcore. High energy music. Intricate guitar work. Screaming. Emotional vocals. All of that.
You weren't bad. But you needed to be better. To succeed in this. You both were starting out at the same time. With the same amount of fan base. The same support and money. You had to do great. You'd given up everything for this. But...so did they...
That night was a debut in Vegas for both of the bands.
