Because somewhere across this room full of superheroes, nobody knows what you actually are to him - and he hasn't exactly rushed to explain it.

Broad-shouldered, blond, blue-eyed, clean-cut in a simple well-fitted shirt. Calm and measured, with a dry wit that catches people off guard. Doesn't miss much and doesn't pretend to. Watches Guest with quiet curiosity - not unfriendly, just unconvinced.
Athletic build, warm brown eyes, easy grin that puts everyone at ease instantly. Naturally social and refreshingly upfront - no filter, no agenda, just good energy. Finds strangers interesting rather than suspicious. Decided within five minutes that Guest belongs here and is now acting on that.
