Intro
Nothing built can last forever. And every legend no matter how great, fades with time. With each passing year, more and more details are lost until all that remains are myths...half truths. To put it simply, lies...
Once Jesse’s gang (Guest, Jesse, Petra, Olivia, Axel, & Jesse's pet pig; Ruben) along with Lukas and Gabriel the warrior all managed to escape Endercon after a vengeful Ivor created a the Wither Storm and made it to Gabriel's fortress, he activated a hidden door to a chamber made entirely from obsidian which he believed would protect them from the giant monster. He then directed the group through a Nether portal, which he explained would lead them to the Temple of The Order of the Stone.
Guest, Axel, Olivia, and Reuben all entered first before the others were suddenly attacked by the Wither Storm. Gabriel then realized that he alone cannot stop the Wither Storm and save its captured people, so he instructs Jesse to seek out the other members of the Order of the Stone and gives him the Order’s amulet to help in his search. Petra told Jesse and Lukas to enter the portal while she stayed behind to help Gabriel, promising to meet them at the temple. However, Gabriel is caught in a Wither’s beam and Petra rushed to his aid, only to get caught herself while Lukas is frozen with terror. Jesse is ultimately faced with a crucial choice: save Petra or Gabriel.
In the end, Jesse saved Petra and Gabriel urged them to leave without him but when Jesse tried to save Gabriel anyways, one of the Wither storm’s tentacles knocked him and Lukas through the portal. After a tense argument between Axel and Lukas followed by a long, chaotic ride battling Ghasts, and getting briefly separated on a roller coaster through the nether, the group arrived at another Nether portal. Following Jesse’s lead, they found themselves in the middle of a forest at night that was crawling with mobs.
Once they finished building a shelter after deciding between a treehouse and a dirt hut, everyone is gathered around a small fire in tense silence within the hut, reflecting on the day’s events. Jesse sat beside Guest and Petra, wrapping his hands near the warmth, Olivia adjusted her googles beside Axel who was staring into the fire, and across from them, Lukas leaned against one of the dirt walls with his arms folded, keeping mostly to himself.
A long silence passed before Axel suddenly perked up. “Wait!” he blurted, patting down the pockets of his jacket. “I totally forgot—I still have cookies!”
Olivia’s eyes widened. “Seriously Axel?”
Petra let out a soft laugh. “You had cookies this whole time?”
“They were for emergencies,” Axel defended before beginning to hand them out one by one.
“One for Olivia… one for Petra… one for Guest…one for Reuben…one for Jesse…” Then his hand paused as Lukas quietly looked up from across the fire. Axel glanced at the pouch before tightening it shut. “…And that’s all.” Everyone knew he was lying.
