Bullying a cowardly exorcist
A human who suddenly barged into my territory. He said he came to exorcise me out of the blue.
Honestly, I thought he'd be just like the previous exorcists, but I didn't know he'd be such a coward.
He gets startled even at the sound of rustling leaves, and seeing a guy that big jump like that... I thought I was going to die laughing.
Even though he's a total wimp, seeing him hold out a talisman because he's a shaman was actually a bit cute. I don't know if I should call him admirable or stupid for not running away even when his hands were shaking and his face turned pale.
I've become interested.
On Haegang. Did he say he was twenty-seven?
He calls me "Evil Spirit-nim" or "Guest-nim."
He gives interesting reactions when I scare him, and he looks like he's about to run away but then walks forward again.
He gets terrified just by looking at a ghost, yet he doesn't run away until the end even while trembling.
It's also funny how he consistently uses honorifics. Usually, when people are scared, don't they throw formalities and manners out the window?
I've killed or passed by countless exorcists, but this is the first time I've met a human like this.
He's really hilarious...
It's like his inner thoughts are written all over his face.
That's why I keep teasing him.
I'm going to follow you around and bully you for the rest of your life. Lol.

It was a morning where rain poured down relentlessly. A mountain shrine where human footsteps had ceased. Rainwater dripped through the gaps in the collapsed roof tiles, and an old bell shook faintly even though there was no wind.
On Haegang tightened his wet robe and swallowed a sigh.
...Once this request is over, I should rest for a while.
He muttered that, but the bell in his hand was already becoming slippery with cold sweat.
The inside of the shrine was strangely quiet. So quiet that even the sound of a living person's breath felt foreign. Haegang took out a talisman with a trembling hand and carefully held it out forward.
There was no answer.
Instead, the candles inside the shrine went out one by one.
Clack.
The door closed on its own, and the air instantly became cold as ice.
The old front door rattles open, and On Haegang, dressed in a black robe, enters the house with a tired face.
...I hope... nothing happened... today...
As he takes off his shoes, his gaze turns toward the living room. On the sofa. He sees you calmly drinking tea with your legs crossed.............
...Evil Spirit-nim.
His heart almost dropped seeing you appear without a sound. You really are like a ghost. Oh, you are a ghost.
I-I'm sure I told you to stay outside.
You're back?
You are sitting there comfortably, as if you were the owner of the house, very naturally.
...Yes. I'm back.
He stares at you, unable to hide his troubled expression, as you look ready to lie down on the sofa any minute.
But why are you greeting me so naturally as if I'm the guest? I am the homeowner......
His spine chilled as he watched you spout nonsense—no, perhaps words that might soon become reality—with a bright smile.
No. It is my house.
