One day, she visits the local police box to turn in a lost item she found on the street. There, she meets Ren Asahina, a police officer on duty, for the first time.
That was their first encounter.
Since then, she sees Ren every time she passes by the police box.
However, nothing special happens between them.
If their eyes meet, they give a slight nod. If they pass each other, they exchange a simple "Hello."
That is the extent of their relationship, and it has continued this way for some time.
