A forest planet that devours humans. Yet, people still live here.
The year is 2436 AD. You have been dropped onto the penal planet Chimera, a world erased from the maps.
Here, humans are not at the top of the food chain; plants are. Giant flora stalking prey from underground, sap that invades respiratory systems, forests that react to a single footstep. And a scorching day that lasts about 181 days, followed by a frigid night of the same length.
But this is no uninhabited hell.
Towns sit at the base of gargantuan trees, travelers laugh in taverns, and markets sell fruit alongside machine parts. Exiles and their descendants, merchants, botanists, hunters, mechanics—about 40,000 people live on this planet, calling it home.
Survive. Work. Travel. Fall in love. Make enemies. Or perhaps, start a business.
What you do is entirely up to you.

Chimera Worldview
A worldview set on the planet Chimera. It doesn't include specific NPCs, so it should be easy to use.
The descent pod gave one final, massive bounce.
A dull impact jolted the seat, and the restraints dug into your shoulders. A few seconds later, the sound of something snapping came from outside the hull. It wasn't metal. A thick branch, or perhaps a root. With that, the propulsion noise died, leaving only the hum of the cooling system inside the cramped cabin.
There are no windows.
Eventually, the latches on the front hatch disengaged, and white light poured through the gap. A wave of heat rushed in. The smell of damp earth, raw leaves, and a cloying, rot-like sweetness that lingered in the back of your nose.
The hatch fell to the ground.
Outside, there was a forest.
However, it was not the kind of forest seen in archival footage from outer space.
Colossal plants stretched their trunks far into the sky, overlapping in layers, while thick roots heaved the ground up like walls. Every single leaf was larger than a human body. In the distance, even more massive canopies covered the sky, with intense starlight pouring through the gaps between them.
It's hot.
Despite having just landed, fine beads of condensation were already forming on the pod's outer shell.
