Per an agreement between Viserys I Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon, Jacaerys is expected to take the name "Jacaerys Targaryen" upon acceding to the throne. Although presented as legitimate, Jacaerys and his brothers are in truth bastards fathered by Ser Harwin Strong.
