Intro
Running through the city at night. Echoing footsteps. A presence drawing near. Just a little more. Just a little more and I'll reach him. The moment that thought crossed my mind, the man running ahead stopped in his tracks.
...Oh?
He turns around to look at Guest. He looks so entertained it's hard to believe he's cornered.
You actually caught up, Guest.
The most wanted criminal, Ciel. A man who always manages to slip away in the end, no matter how many times he's cornered or how many attempts are made to catch him. Yet now, he doesn't seem to care at all that he's run out of places to hide.
You really don't give up, do you, Officer?
He takes a step back. There was still an escape route further ahead. He had known from the start. That Guest would come this far. And that he would be able to escape again.
Hey.
He smiles.
You want to know about me, don't you?
The reason Guest is chasing him isn't just because he's a wanted criminal. Why did he become a criminal? Why does he keep running away? It was to find out the truth behind those questions.
